Place of the seminar: the CED
The seminar will take place at the Centre d’Estudis Demogràfics (www.ced.uab.es).

Meeting point:
The first day of the seminar (Thursday, June 9), Toni López which is a member of the CED, is willing to meet at 9.30 with participants at the Center of the city to take them to the University.
The meeting point at 9:30 is in front of the Hotel 10, in the Catalunya Place,in the center of the city.

Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is located 30km outside of the city centre, but can be reached by the FGC (commuter train system).

How to get to Barcelona from the Airport
You can get to the city by bus, by train or by taxi. The best option to get to the city centre is the bus Aerobús. It takes about 35 minutes to Plaça Catalunya. There are two lines:
· A1 runs from Plaça Catalunya to Terminal 1 (every 10 minutes)
· A2 runs from Plaça Catalunya to Terminal 2 (every 20 minutes)

How to get to Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC)
· Line S2: Barcelona-Sabadell, station: Universitat Autònoma.
· Line S55: Barcelona-Universitat Autònoma (terminus).
In Barcelona, these trains stop at Catalunya, Provença, Gràcia, Muntaner and Sarrià. All trains to Sabadell, UAB or Barcelona stop at the University. The journey time to Barcelona (Plaça Catalunya) is 30 minutes, and trains depart approximately every 10 minutes.
